We seek a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher that would like to join our team to study the mechanisms of pain modulation at the spinal cord level and in the periphery. The focus will be to study the role of TRP and cannabinoid receptors and their interaction with cytokines under pathological pain conditions. Electrophysiological (patch clamp), immunohistochemical, behavioral and other methodological approaches will be used.

Requirements

Applicant must hold a PhD in biomedical/physiological sciences or in a related field.
Be familiar with relevant experimental techniques (electrophysiology, cellular physiology, molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, behavioral tests).
The candidate should be motivated and enthusiastic with willingness to learn and with the ability to work and interact with others in the research group.
Good track record of scientific publications in international journals.
